2nd Quarter 2025: Reading Recap

From March to June, I finished reading four books. I devoured information about the publishing industry and professional habits of successful writers. Poetry collections brought occasional, yet consistent, doses of joy. I also learned from two writers, A.G. Riddle and Riley Redgate, during author events through Winston-Salem Writers.

Like countless writers, I dig through books as I write my own. I drafted new chapters daily, read regularly, and created freely. I finished writing one novel in March then started and finished another by June.

My only rule of writing is to come back to it. Not every day, just every day I can. But this year, I have been able to pursue at that age-old advice: write and read every day.
